Abstract
Every school always wants its students be able to advance in education, as well as SD Negeri 3 Calang City who wants school facilities and infrastructure to be more innovative in information and communication technology in order to be able to produce superior output in the world of technology, considering that each school has its own advantages as a source of power school competition. This research aimed to describe the implementation of information and communication technology based facilities and infrastructure at SD Negeri 3 Calang and the role of school information and communication technology in creating the competitiveness of SD Negeri 3 Calang school. The research method used qualitative research with a field research approach (Field Research). In this research , the subjects of the research were the principal, vice principal of curriculum, vice principal of infrastructure, head of TU, and laboratory manager. Based the results of the research , it was found that: Strategy for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology-Based Facilities and Infrastructure at SD Negeri 3 Calang was carried out by establishing programs, determining budgets, determining procedures, planning and procurement, inventory, storage and data collection, use and maintenance, preserve , elimination and control in technological facilities and infrastructure, and the role of School Information and Communication Technology and creating School Competitiveness at SD Negeri 3 Calang, among others, are: a) output (competent students in information and communication technology), b) quality of graduation capable of compete regionally, c) the ability to carry out operations and improvements in aspects of communication and information technology, d) have the capacity and potential in accordance with the guidance of the world of education, e) have advantages over other formal schools.
