Abstract
Educational Institutions as leading work units that are directly related to real needs in the field of education, it is time to give Islamic Boarding Schools full authority to plan, implement and evaluate the educational components of a school, which include curriculum, teaching staff, infrastructure, funds, management, environment. , and teaching and learning activities. Under the leadership of the Islamic Boarding School, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the management of the quality of teacher learning. The problem formulation of this research is how planning is carried out in the management of improving the quality of teacher learning at the Babul Huda Islamic boarding school foundation, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the planning process carried out by management to improve the quality of teacher learning at the Babul Huda Islamic boarding school foundation, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The theory used in this research is the theory put forward by B. Suryosubroti who believes that to uphold quality improvement as a logical consequence, Islamic boarding schools must be allowed to develop educational planning, monitor, present reports on results and performance to the community and government as consumers of Islamic boarding school educational services. This research is a qualitative research. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that planning the quality of teacher learning at the Babul Huda Islamic boarding school foundation, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency was carried out at a meeting before the new fiscal year. The planning is oriented towards increasing the achievement of educational standards to the maximum, its implementation provides motivation to teachers, provides coaching, provides understanding or direction about the importance of the activities to be carried out and teachers follow them. Then evaluate the quality of teacher learning at the Babul Huda Islamic boarding school foundation, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency by implementing three stages, namely, monitoring, assessing and reporting the performance of Islamic boarding school which is carried out at the end of each year, then teachers who are successful and have achievements will be given awards by the head of the foundation
