Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning conducted outside the classroom. Utilization of the environment around the school aims to provide direct experience to students. So that students can adapt to the environment around the school by knowing the importance of skills and experience of living in the surrounding natural environment, and having an appreciation of the natural environment.
The purpose of this study was to find out (1) Outdoor Learning system planning in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto, (2) Implementation of outdoor learning systems in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto, (3) Evaluation of the outdoor learning system in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto.
This research was conducted at MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection procedures using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used Miles and Hubermen's interactive model through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The findings of the researchers obtained are; 1. Outdoor Learning system planning in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto consisting of; a. Selection of themes in thematic learning; b. Determination of the place for the implementation of Outdoor Learning; c. Determine when Outdoor Learning will be held; d. Preparation of RPP; e. Implementation of Outdoor Learning. 2. The implementation of the outdoor learning system in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto consists of; a. Observation or observation of the object visited; b. Conducting interviews with sources to obtain information; c. Conduct discussions with group members to collect information from the introduction, observation and interview stages. 3. Evaluation of the outdoor learning system in thematic learning theme 3 sub-themes 1 in class III MI Darussalam Pacet Mojokerto consisting of; a. Internal aspects which include books and the school environment, b. External aspects which include media and time.
