Abstract
To realize a generation with good character, growing and developing in accordance with the nation's noble ideals, Islamic religious education teachers have a role that goes beyond simply creating intelligent individuals. This is the starting point for Islamic religious education in internalizing the values of Islamic religious education, especially the value of tasamuh or tolerance. The focus of this research is the planning, implementation, and implications of the internalization of tasamuh values in Islamic religious education learning at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong Mojokerto.
This research uses a case study methodology for qualitative research. The case study approach seeks to conduct thorough research and collect all relevant data using observation, interviews, and documentation over a specific period of time. This approach aims to identify, describe, and explain how the value of tasamuh (compassion) is internalized in Islamic religious education.
The researcher found that each student possesses a sense of goodness, mutual respect, and tolerance, leading to action based on their potential and awareness. Positive development as individuals encompasses intellectual, emotional, social, ethical, and behavioral intelligence. Therefore, internalizing tasamuh values in Islamic religious education requires a comprehensive process, including planning, implementation, and implementation, along with appropriate strategies to achieve optimal results.
The results indicate that the internalization of tasamuh values in Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 1 Dawarblandong involves the stages of value transformation through introduction, value transaction through habituation, and value transinternalization through practice. These impact the quality of tasamuh insight, concern for others, social interaction, unity, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and caring behavior.
