Abstract
Education is a conscious effort that is deliberately designed to achieve predetermined goals, the essence of which is improving the quality of human resources through the learning process in madrasas, training, training seminars and including supervision. Supervision is an important thing in order to develop the potential and skills of educational staff/teachers which is carried out continuously, because the role of supervision is one of the keys to increasing the professionalism of educational staff/teachers
Based on the existing background, the problem formulation is what is the role of the madrasa head's supervision in increasing teacher professionalism at the Al Muhajirin Denpasar Tsanawiyah Madrasah for the 2023/2024 academic year The aim of this research is to find out how big the role of madrasa head supervision is in increasing the professionalism of teachers at Al Muhajirin Denpasar Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) for the 2023/2024 academic year.
This research uses qualitative research methods to find out the role of
madrasa head supervision in increasing teacher professionalism. datacollection using observation, interviews and documentation. Informants in this research included the head of the madrasah, head of curriculum, teachers and madrasah employees. Meanwhile, data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and data verification
The results of this research can be concluded that the supervision of
madrasah principals has an important role in increasing the professionalism of teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al Muhajirin Denpasar, so that teachers continue to have knowledge and skills that are in accordance with curriculum demands.
