Abstract

The Olympic class is one of the efforts of educators in preparing for globalization. This Olympic class invites all human resources to be active in using technology and also actively build technology. Because this class intersects directly with technology, the most influential empowerment of human resources is the freedom of human resources in accessing technology.
The formulations in this study are, 1) How are Olympic program students able to create digital-based products? 2) How do educators empower students in creating digital products?, while the research method the author uses is qualitative case study research. The types and sources of data used by researchers are primary data and secondary data. The data collection used by researchers is three: Observation, Interview, Documentation.
The results of this study are First, Olympic class human resources are able to create new technology, namely digital products that have usability and are also able to win in several competitions. Second, access to technology in this Olympic class is the most important and influential thing to create new technology, even in a pesantren environment. The technology created by the Olympic class employees is certainly inseparable from the existence of IoT, because almost all digital products created by the Olympic class employees are directly correlated with the IoT base.
