Abstract
This study examines the role of Sumber Gempong tourism in improving the economy of Ketapanrame Village community through sharia investment. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results show that Sumber Gempong tourism plays a role in improving the community's economy through increased income, job expansion, equitable distribution of economic benefits, and increased economic control and ownership by the local community. The sharia investment program implemented uses the syirkah contract with a profit-sharing of 45% for BUMDesa and 55% for investors, applying sharia principles such as avoiding riba, maisir, and gharar.
Through this program, the community receives additional income of approximately IDR 200,000-300,000 per month, which boosts local earnings. Consequently, Sumber Gempong tourism plays a positive role in improving the economy of Ketapanrame Village through the implementation of Sharia-based investments.
